Interviews

Well, I had my first two job interviews yesterday in Cheyenne. Paul took pre-interview pictures which made me feel important and like it was my first day at school or something:)

We also looked at places for me to live. I'm feeling so so sad to leave my life in Utah, so it was nice to begin to feel excited and settled about life in Cheyenne.

Did you know the unemployment rate in Wyoming is 1.2 percent compared to the national rate of 9.7 percent? So if you haven't considered Cheyenne as a place to live...... We could enjoy the Wyoming wilderness together!!

Earthquake....

I am soon going to do an extensive post on my trip to California. I have to collect all pictures first and prep myself emotionally for such a post, so it will be a while.

However, as a preview, I thought I would share the exciting news that I experienced my first earthquake!

I was using the restroom during the 20-30 seconds of the earthquake. Now, this was a rather vulnerable place to be during a natural disaster. I was yelling things in hopes that my roommates would hear such as, "What are you guys doing out there? The shower doors are shaking!" and "Wait a second, is this an earthquake?" and "Hello?! Anybody?!"

I went downstairs and the chandelier at Kate's parents' house was still swinging and everyone was gathered discussing the earthquake.

I know I should try not to love natural disasters, because they actually cause harm much of the time, but a little harmless one was REALLY fun!!!

PATTY

Well, last week I saw Patty Griffin live. I LOVE Patty. This is my fourth time seeing her live. I think she is one of the most talented songwriters in the history of the whole wide world. People ask me what style she is and to that I have no answers. Americana? Folk Rock? Just Really Good? Bahaha but really you should check her out.

I went with my dear friends Chrislyn, Claire, and Spencer.

Until Next time, Patty...
