Birthday Weekend!

I am now 28 years old. I feel like I am 25, so I feel weird. Paul took me to Cheesecake Factory.

Then to the Hale Center Theater in West Valley to a really cute play! The main girl in the play looked just like Reese Witherspoon in the movie. Weird.

My roommates planned a really fun birthday date night for me:) I love them. Here are the girls:

And here are the gentlemen:

My roommates took me to the Pizza Factory the night before my birthday. Here is proof of my age:(

Tiffany and Tahlia had flowers DELIVERED to my work!!! So nice! Then they took me to dinner:

To end a wonderful weekend, Paul and I took a walk in wonderful Memory Grove.

Yay for birthdays!

HBDP

Earlier this month, it was Paul's birthday! I got to hang out with him on his birthday weekend.

We went to the Cheesecake Factory for Birthday dinner:

Then we went to the Colorado Symphony (so good!). I recommend the cheapest seats at the very top... they were really fun. You get a birds-eye view of everything and the sound is just as good.

When we got back to Cheyenne, we kind of had a real birthday cake.... except Paul made his own cake. Whoops!

Happy Birthday Paul-o! :)

My Stars

It's time to share my fantasy basketball team with the world. My team has had its ups and downs and probably more downs than up. But even through my daily cursings, I still love my team:)

Here are some of my stars:

Gilbert Arenas: Gave me some huge numbers with points and assists. He's recently pled guilty for a felony charge- carrying a pistol without a license. He apparently was keeping some firearms in his locker and threatened a teammate with them. He is currently suspended from the NBA at least for this season. Smart Gilbert, Smart.

Next, there's good ole' Danny Granger who is helping me maintain a lead in three-pointers. He's been fairly solid although he was out for a few weeks with a heel injury. Luckily he came back right before Gilbert's suspension.

My third primary player is Mr. Stud-muffin Chris Bosh. He has been my official star as he has stayed injury-free (knock on wood), hasn't had any domestic violence charges pressed against him, and hasn't taken firearms into his locker room. Thank you thank you thank you Chris. I love you.

Thursday Grumpiness

Three things I need to say this morning:

1. I am very disappointed with my fantasy basketball team.

2. I am feeling inner consternation about almost everything in my life right now. I think this means I should call my mother soon!

3. I do not want to be in class right now.

Christmas #3

My third Christmas was in Tennessee- home sweet home. It was snowing the night I came in, but has been fairly warm since then.

Danielle gave me Christmas-y nails. She is amazing! :)

Christmas was interesting this year because, due to water damage, we are getting new hardwood floors... the workers were here until 5 pm on Christmas Eve trying to give us some floor to have Christmas. Thank you nice floor workers! Here are some Christmas Eve pics:

We still had our Christmas Eve cheese and chocolate fondue:

Santa was nice to us... I got this remote controlled helicopter...

My dad got this tent. He has already slept twice in it in the backyard. I got my mother a Better-than-a-Snuggie which she is sporting below.

Lastly, I got to meet my friend Jeneal's little baby McKayla. SO CUTE.

Tomorrow Danielle is having a baby girl, so maybe I'll put more baby girl pictures up soon:)
